This October, my Fall Mini Sessions Ottawa 2026 are back with three beautiful outdoor locations to choose from — each offering a completely different setting for your photos.
Whether you’re looking for updated family photos, a session with your partner, or simply want to capture this season of your life, these mini sessions are designed to feel relaxed, natural, and easy.

Choose Your Fall Mini Session Location
October 4, 2026 | 4:00–6:00 PM
Rain Date: October 10 | 4:00–6:00 PM
If you love warm, rustic fall scenery, Ruisseau-Meech Covered Bridge is a beautiful choice.
Surrounded by trees and natural autumn colours, the covered bridge creates a cozy, intimate atmosphere that works beautifully for families and couples.
This location has a little more character and texture than a traditional park setting — perfect if you’re drawn to warm colours, wooded scenery, and a relaxed fall feel.

Mer Bleue offers a softer and more open setting with natural grasses, wooden boardwalks, and beautiful evening light.
It’s a lovely choice if you prefer photographs that feel simple, airy, and connected to nature.
The open landscape keeps the background clean and lets the focus stay on you, your family, and the little moments happening naturally between you.

Dominion Arboretum is a classic choice for fall family photos in Ottawa.
Mature trees, winding paths, open spaces, and seasonal colours give us plenty of variety without having to move far during a short session.
The morning time also makes this location a great option for families with younger children who tend to be happiest earlier in the day.
If you’re looking for colourful, timeless Ottawa fall photos, this is the one.
What’s Included
Each Fall Mini Session includes:
- $150 CAD + HST
- Up to 5 people
- 10 professionally edited images of your choice
- Private online gallery
- Additional edited images available for $10 + HST each
Once your gallery is ready, you’ll be able to choose your 10 favourite photographs.
And if choosing only ten turns out to be the hardest part of the session, you’ll have the option to purchase additional images directly from your gallery.
Natural Photos With a Little Guidance
You don’t need to know how to pose, and your children definitely don’t need to stand perfectly still and smile at the camera the entire time.
I’ll guide you when you need it, help with positioning, and give you simple direction so you never have to wonder what to do.
But I also want to leave space for the real moments — walking together, laughing, cuddling, playing with your kids, and simply being yourselves.
The goal isn’t to make every photograph look perfectly posed.
It’s to create images that feel natural, warm, and like you.
Which Fall Location Should You Choose?
All three locations are beautiful, but they offer very different looks.
Choose Ruisseau-Meech Covered Bridge if you love a cozy, rustic setting with warm autumn colours and wooded scenery.
Choose Mer Bleue Bog if you prefer open landscapes, soft natural tones, and a cleaner, more minimal look.
Choose Dominion Arboretum if you want that classic Ottawa fall feeling with mature trees, colourful foliage, and lots of natural variety.

Choose the location you’re naturally drawn to first. There really isn’t a wrong one.
What Should We Wear?
Fall photographs usually look best when everyone coordinates without matching exactly.
Soft neutrals, warm earth tones, muted greens, browns, creams, burgundy, rust, and similar seasonal colours all photograph beautifully outdoors.
You don’t need to figure everything out on your own, though.
After booking, I’ll send you session details and outfit recommendations to help you prepare.
What Happens If It Rains?
Because all three Fall Mini Sessions are outdoors, each location has its own scheduled rain date.
If the weather on the original date isn’t suitable for the session, your booking will be moved to the listed rain date.
Please make sure you are available for both the original date and the rain date before booking your time slot.
How to Book Your Fall Mini Session
Booking is simple:
- Choose your preferred location.
- Select an available time in the booking calendar.
- Complete your booking information.
- A non-refundable 50% retainer is due within 24 hours to secure your session.
- The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.
If the retainer is not received within 24 hours, the time slot will be released.
Payment can be made by e-Transfer to tche.noir@gmail.com, or by another payment method if agreed upon in advance.
